Power Houses
The demand for electrical power will usually always increase in developing countries and thus create a strain to the existing infrastructure. In some locations the provision of power to a community, hospital or commercial business by the utility company cannot be guaranteed and the provision of back-up generators in purpose built Power Houses is an essential part of infrastructure investment.
Luton Engineering are helping to support growing economies with their skill and expertise in electrical power installations, providing 'turn-key' solutions from the initial planning and land surveys of the site to the final installation and commissioning of all of the equipment.
Typical ‘Power House’ installations for a community range from 500 kVa to 5 MVa, Luton Engineering provide and manage the whole process from the initial land survey through to the commissioning of the project including;
- Design – determining the structural and power demand of the Power house and its components.
- Land Survey, Piling, Substructure Works – All substructure works to compliment the land designated for use by the client.
- Construction - undertaken to British and local engineering build quality standards.
- Installation – of building, generators, panels and equipment to the client’s satisfaction.
Luton Engineering ensures that our qualified civil and electrical engineers oversee all of our Generator Power House projects to ensure a safe installation that meet all of the client’s technical specifications.
